Family Counseling

Family counseling can be helpful as a means for resolving conflict and enhancing relationship health, and it is often a complement to individual therapy.  Our goal is to enhance relationships by developing healthier methods of communication and improving conflict resolution skills. We recognize that each family is a unique system, and issues affecting one family member may affect the whole unit.

Improved communication can help family members understand each other’s perspectives. During family counseling sessions, we provide each member an opportunity to be heard and to listen to one another.  We engage family members in research-based exercises to build awareness, develop goals, implement change, and achieve more meaningful connection.
